Markus Kriegler is a Managing Director with more than 25 years of experience in banking in the CEE area. Markus started his banking career in 1994 and is now leading the Group Corporates Division at Erste Group Bank AG.

Throughout his career, Markus spent several years abroad in different roles in Serbia, Czech Republic and Romania.

Markus holds a Masters degree from Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Juraj Kotian

Head of CEE Macro Research, Erste Group Bank

Juraj Kotian is an economist and Head of Macro and Fixed Income Research for Central and Eastern Europe at Erste Group Bank.

Juraj has over two decades of experience conducting a leading economic research in the CEE region and is a frequent speaker at international conferences, policy debates, and client events.

He also serves as Member of the Council for Budget Responsibility in Slovakia. His previous positions include Head of Research and Chief Economist of Slovenska sporitelna and fixed-income analyst at ING Barings in Bratislava.

He holds a master’s degree in Economic and Financial Mathematics from Comenius University, completed leadership development programs at Ashridge Business School in the UK and IESE Business School in Barcelona and is a Marshall Memorial Fellow of the German Marshall Fund of the United States.

In his current role, he focuses on driving B2B payments growth by working with banks and partners to deploy commercial cards, virtual payments, and embedded payment solutions that help businesses operate more efficiently and scale across markets. He brings broad financial services experience gained across banking and fintech, having worked at Komerční banka in Slovakia, Citibank Czech Republic, Visa UK, and Jaja Finance in London.

Onur is a senior banking and payments professional with 18 years of experience across transaction banking, cash management, corporate banking and cross-border payments. He currently coordinates Visa Direct business development activities across Romania, Croatia, Slovenia and Bulgaria, working closely with financial institutions, EMIs, fintechs and remittance companies to support fast, secure and seamless money movement solutions. He holds an MBA in Finance from City University of Seattle and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.

Ádám Faragó is a Head of Capital Markets Corporate Sales in Erste Bank Hungary with more than 25 years of experience in Treasury corporate sales in Erste. Ádám started his banking career in 1997 in MKB (now MBH) in Corporate Banking with Institutional clients, following that in Corporate banking with international clients in BNP-Dresdner Bank Hungary. He gained international banking experience already during his studies in Paris, France at Commerzbank.

Ádám holds a Masters degree from Corvinus University of Economics and Business in Budapest, also studied at Université Paris XIII in France.

Agnes Horvath is the Chief Economist of MOL Group, has a Ph.D. in Economics and a long-lasting experience in macroeconomic analysis and model-based projections.

She has spent two decades in the central banking industry, working for the Hungarian and the Austrian national bank, the IMF and the EBRD.

10 years ago she turned her interest to the energy markets and the challenges oil & gas companies will have during an accelerated green transition.

She is representing MOL within a number of international associations and working groups.
