I am currently the President of Sports HUB, co-Founder of GO Scholarship and Vice-President of CEO Clubs. I had been ten years the captain of the Romanian National team and five years I’ve been named the Best Romanian Basketball Player. I had a long career playing basketball at the highest level in Europe, with appearances in Euroleague, Euro Cup and EuroChallenge.

After sport career, I remained in basketball taking the role of president of Steaua CSM EximBank team, and I was also elected as Vice-President of the Romanian Basketball Federation. I graduated of the University of South Alabama, where recently I had the great honour of being inducted in the USA’s Hall of Fame.

I took a masters degree in Economical European Integration from the University of Arts and Sciences “Gheorghe Cristea” , another masters degree in Management and Leadership from Northumbria University, and a coaching degree from the National Coaching School “ANS”.

Now I am creating bridges between people helping leaders connect and develop through a community of beautiful people with a concept of shared knowledge and excellence.

Ömer Tetik was appointed as CEO in 2013. Under his leadership, Banca Transilvania has become the largest bank in Romania and Southeast Europe.

He is strongly committed to the growth of the Romanian capital market. His banking career spans more than two decades, with professional experience in Romania, Russia and Turkey.

He started his career at ATA Securities in Izmir, Turkey, before moving to Istanbul a year later to join the Treasury team at Finansbank. In 1997, he became the Treasury and Capital Markets Department Coordinator at Finansbank Moscow. He then moved to Romania in 2000, where his bank appointed him Deputy Vice-president.

A decade later, he became VicePresident and later President of Credit Europe Bank, formerly Finansbank.

Alina Turungiu

Alina Turungiu is a treasury specialist with a strong background in both operational treasury and banking. She has over 10 years of hands-on experience across cash management, international payments, and liquidity planning. Her career began in the banking sector at Alpha Bank, before moving into corporate treasury roles at companies such as Vivre, Cargill, and Metro Cash & Carry, where she led and optimized key treasury processes.

After a decade in traditional treasury functions, Alina transitioned into a more technical role focused on bridging the gap between treasury and IT. She currently serves as Senior Group Treasury Systems Analyst at Garrett Advancing Motion, where she leads treasury automation and digital transformation initiatives across 25 countries. Her deep understanding of operational challenges allows her to translate them into scalable, technology-driven solutions.

Her skillset spans treasury management systems (certified in Coupa Treasury), RPA, Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform, SWIFT, SAP, APIs, and process automation. She also holds a range of professional certifications in treasury, Six Sigma methodologies, data analytics, capital markets, financial modeling, and corporate training, enabling her to drive both technical execution and effective knowledge transfer across global teams.

As the Head of Group Treasury at MVM Energetika, I manage and oversee the front office activities of the group treasury, which include cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, cash pool operations, and bank relationship management. I also manage and oversee the FX, commodity, and interest rate hedge operations, as well as the treasury and risk aspects of M&A due diligence activities.

I have more than 25 years of experience in the financial markets, with a proven track record in oil, gas, and emission trading, FX, money market, fixed income, and options sales and trading. I have also held various strategic advisory positions in energy-related M&A projects, and I have extensive knowledge of treasury and risk management systems, legal frameworks, and transfer pricing procedures. My specialties include treasury and risk management, due diligence, forex, fixed income, commodities, and options trading, frame agreement negotiations, and post-acquisition support and advisory. I am passionate about delivering optimal treasury solutions and value-added services to my organization and stakeholders.

Dirk Fehring has more than 25 years of experience in working capital, structured trade and commodity finance. As Senior Director in the Supply Chain Finance department at Raiffeisen Bank International AG he is responsible for advising on, structuring and implementing tailor-made supply chain finance solutions to optimize the working capital for corporate customers. Before RBI he has been leading the Trade Finance sales and services teams at HSBC Germany and was Deputy Global Head Commodity Finance at WestLB AG.

Adrian Calin

Adrian Calin is an Executive Director based in Zurich. Joining the bank in 2014 Adrian is currently the Head of J.P. Morgan Payments as well as the Head of Treasury Services Corporate Sales for Switzerland.  Adrian is managing a portfolio of large corporate clients headquartered in Switzerland and is also responsible for the J.P. Morgan Payments Swiss franchise.

Adrian and his team are responsible for the delivery of complex, multi-regional solutions, that include: payables, receivables, cards, trade services, merchant acquiring, liquidity and short-term liquidity investments.

Before joining J.P. Morgan, Adrian worked at Citibank for six years in Zurich and in Chicago, and previously at ABN AMRO Bank in the US and in Romania, in a variety of corporate banking and treasury services roles.

Adrian graduated from Loyola University of Chicago Quinlan School of Business with a M.B.A. degree in Finance and Marketing and from Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania with a bachelor degree in Finance and Banking. He has earned the Certified Treasury Professional designation and the Certificate in International Cash Management (CertICM).

Dr Xuxin Mao, PhD, FRM

Head of Research, Bank of China (London)

Dr. Xuxin Mao is the Head of Research at the Bank of China in London, where he has led research for the EMEA markets since August 2023. With nearly two decades of experience in economic research, Dr. Mao previously served as the Principal Economist at the UK’s National Institute of Economic and Social Research (2019-2023), where he directed global economic forecasting and climate change research. His expertise spans macroeconomics, econometrics, AI, and Big Data analytics, with his work frequently featured in leading outlets like the BBC and The Times.

As an affiliated researcher at the London School of Economics and University College London, Dr. Mao has contributed to key national projects, including the development of price indices for the UK’s Office for National Statistics. He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Glasgow and is a regular speaker at major global economic conferences.

László V. Szabó has been vice president of the Hungarian Treasury Club for many years but is now working in a new field as a legal tech and innovation expert. He has been working with Lakatos, Köves and Partners for six years and is the founder and strategic director of Legaltech Lab. He deals with legaltech, AI, and legal AI trends and their application, as well as the financial and economic aspects of certain legal issues. László previously worked as a financier for more than 30 years, managing structured lending at Citibank and financial departments at large companies (MOL, MVM). He has been involved in the implementation of many financial and technological innovations. These innovations have always been realized in collaboration with lawyers, engineers, and technology experts. He has been a Gestalt coach for 20 years and has been involved in alternative medicine for 10 years. He is a committed advocate and supporter of the Silver Economy.

Ferenc Szabó is a Senior Finance Executive with 30+ years’ experience in Treasury, Banking, Finance and Investments. 

He started to work in multinational banks in the Treasury and Markets divisions as Trader than later as Treasurer. He is well known from building the market leader Trading and Sales activity of Raiffeisen Bank in Hungary. In 2004 Mr. Szabó was promoted to a Management Board position at Raiffeisen Bank Hungary and worked in this role for 9 years. He was primarily responsible for Treasury and Investment Banking Services.

After 23 years in Banking he switched career path and worked as a CFO of companies in Hungary and in Luxembourg. A few years ago, he joined FX Software Ltd for developing a state-of-the-art Corporate Treasury Management Solution targeting CEE customers.
